Wilson Creek Winery has long been one of the premier wineries in the Temecula Valley and a awesome destination from brides and grooms when searching for that perfect place to have their ceremony. What an absolutely perfect wedding day it was. We started the day out early at the Wilson Creek Manor. It’s a nine-room elegant Tuscan style villa, just across the street from the winery. After a few getting ready photos at the manor when then moved across the street to the winery for the first look. The ceremony took place in a beautiful grove there on the property. After the ceremony we spent almost an hour at shooting family and formals and I couldn’t have asked for better afternoon light. Dinner was followed by lots of dancing, toasts by close friends, family and more dancing. At the end of the night, everyone lined up for a final sparkles salute, as Jessica and Brian wrapped up a wonderful wedding day.
Los Willows in Fallbrook is well known among Southern California wedding photographers as a premier wedding and event venue. From outdoor ceremonies to corporate events, it is without a doubt a perfect spot for a celebration of any kind. Today I’d like to blog about Alejandra and Israel’s wedding, which I had the pleasure of photographing. The couple’s wedding day began at Los Willow’s Bed and Breakfast Inn, where they had their “first look” in the courtyard, followed by some shots in the French Quarter with the wedding party. Because pictures are very important to Alex and Israel, we spent almost an hour at shooting formals and I couldn’t have asked for better afternoon light. Dinner was followed by lots of dancing, toasts by close friends and family and more dancing. At the end of the night, everyone lined up for a final sparkles salute, as the bride and groom departed in a classic chauffeured Rolls Royce!
How can you go wrong when you have such a jaw dropping back drop as La Jolla, California for your wedding? Nestled in the La Jolla cove and sitting right on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, La Valencia Hotel made my job a piece of cake. Also, having the prep photos, ceremony and reception in one location made for more time to capture great images. I took advantage of La Valencia’s interior with its Mediterranean style, hand-painted ceiling and spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. Robyn and Thad were wonderful to work with and had so many cool ideas that made the photos really pop. After spending the day in at this Southern California resort, it’s obvious why they call La Valencia the “the jewel of La Jolla”.
