What an absolutely perfect wedding day it was at the classic and cool University Club in Pasadena. We started the day out at the University Club early for getting ready shots and some pre-ceremony images in and around the club. We then moved on to Pasadena City Hall for the bride and groom’s first look. Kate and Ari were such an awesome couple to work with and they hit every mark when it came to the photos. The ceremony and reception were back at the University Club. The reception started with the introductions, followed by the first dance and then gradually transformed into a full blown party. Overall, the entire day was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed being there! Below are few of our favorite shots from Kate and Ari’s big day. Enjoy!

Valerie and Anton tied the knot on a beautiful fall day.  I’m sure they had both been anxiously awaiting to say “I do” as they have been together for a few years now. All of the days festivities took place at the Fenyes Estate. The building is a historic two-acre estate complex located in Pasadena along what was once known as “Millionaire’s Row”. The Pasadena Museum of History maintains the century-old estate. We started the day with a first look, then it was off to Old Town Pasadena for some cool urban styled photos. We got some great shots of the newlyweds in some of Pasadena’s coolest spots. The ceremony was touching and very personal.  Anton’s older brother flew all the way in from Australia to perform the ceremony. Other personal touches were included in the reception as Anton serenaded his new bride. The coordination was handled flawlessly by Mellisa Rizk at boutique event planning. It was simply a pleasure documenting their day!

Erin and James’ ceremony took place at the Church of the Angels in Pasadena, California, on a Southern California winter’s day. The day was shaping up to be a rainy one when dark clouds moved in and the sky looked very threatening. Luckily, we planned ahead with some cool umbrellas for the formal photo sessions.  Not wasting any time, we started shooting the formal shots of Erin and James highlighted by the incredibly dramatic sky. The reception was held at The Rococo Room at the Cafe Santorini in Old Town Pasadena. Dinner was highlighted with toasts by their families, which were extremely touching and memorable.  Later, everyone hit the dance floor for some great freestyle dancing and crazy fun.
