What a perfect day for a backyard wedding! Actually the wedding of Kelley and Jared was held on the beach in Corona Del Mar, California but the beautiful reception was back in Costa Mesa at their home. We stared the day in Costa Mesa for getting ready shots and right after that our wonderful spontaneous bride decided that it awesome to go for a jump in a bounce house that was setting up across the street for a birthday party. Of course she was right! The photos from the bounce house were indeed awesome! We soon may our way down to the beach for the ceremony. Our biggest challenge that day was the bright beach sun but we found a way to minimize the brightness to get some great shots. Then it was off to their home for the reception. Kelley and Jared’s friend Kim and Sarah from the Love Riot handled all the coordinating, table decor, place cards, and lots of wonderful personal touches. Congratulations on your new lives together as husband and wife! Thanks for having us be there.
We were surrounded by an incredible bunch of people for Katlin and Jack’s wedding. One thing is for sure, Katlin and Jack have some of the best family and friends anybody could ask for! I already knew that Katlin’s family was going to be awesome because I’ve photographed Katlin’s older sibling’s weddings in the past. We started at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach where we photographed all the little preparation details. The hotel was a perfect place to do all the bridal party photos as well as the first look. We knocked those out and then headed to the beautiful Sea Cliff Country Club in Huntington Beach for the ceremony. Sea Cliff Country Club is less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean, not far from the historic Huntington Beach Pier. Sea Cliff Country Club is an absolutely beautiful location that provided an awesome backdrop for the wedding. Thanks to the wonderful staff there at Sea Cliff for making this an incredible experience. Katlin and Jack, we are so happy we got to share your special day with you and wish you many years of happiness!
Julissa and Christopher were married next to the ocean at the ideally located and beautiful Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. One of the most amazing locations in Southern California. This wedding was definitely a labour of love for me because Julissa and I have been friends for a number of years. Surrounded by their family and friends (many in from the East Coast and Texas) the ceremony was touching and very personal. Julissa, Christopher and their guests then enjoyed the reception seated under the big top of a custom event tent and dancing into the night.
