Jennifer and Miguel’s relationship started out at Scripps Green Hospital were they worked together. Who would have thought we would all be celebrating their union in beautiful Napa Valley, California years later. I’d describe their wedding as a perfect blend of the casual and the elegant, with a killer band to boot. The ceremony was touching and very personal, Jennifer’s brother was selected to do the nuptials and did an outstanding job. There were a lot of unique details such as fantastic dishes prepared onsite by Touche Mobile Chefs. The food was prepared in a traditional South American style barbecue with empanadas and Choripan appetizers. If that was not enough, there was also wonderful Korean dishes provided by Roll Pop. I can’t even begin to describe the incredible people that we were surrounded by for this wedding. Jennifer and Miguel had family and friends join them from Korea, Massachusetts and Texas. One thing is for sure, they have some of the best family and friends anybody could ask for! We are so happy we got to share your special day with you and wish you many years of happiness!
Marlene and Devin were married this fall in Southern California. They got ready at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, and then had their ceremony at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Habra. Then the reception was held later on at the Hotel Maya. We had beautiful sunshine all day then later on a cool clear night. I have been excited to post this wedding because of the color and richness of the setting, as well as to show off a great looking couple. The coordination was handled flawlessly by Melissa Rizk and her crew at Boutique Event Planning. Congratulations on your new lives together as husband and wife! Thanks for having us be there.
Valerie and Anton tied the knot on a beautiful fall day. I’m sure they had both been anxiously awaiting to say “I do” as they have been together for a few years now. All of the days festivities took place at the Fenyes Estate. The building is a historic two-acre estate complex located in Pasadena along what was once known as “Millionaire’s Row”. The Pasadena Museum of History maintains the century-old estate. We started the day with a first look, then it was off to Old Town Pasadena for some cool urban styled photos. We got some great shots of the newlyweds in some of Pasadena’s coolest spots. The ceremony was touching and very personal. Anton’s older brother flew all the way in from Australia to perform the ceremony. Other personal touches were included in the reception as Anton serenaded his new bride. The coordination was handled flawlessly by Mellisa Rizk at boutique event planning. It was simply a pleasure documenting their day!
Marie and Nathan were married at one of the most romantic, historic venues nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. Padua Hills theatre in Claremont, California is one of the most beautiful locations in Southern California. Surrounded by family and friends the ceremony was original and very personal. We wrapped up the reception at an outstanding Italian restaurant where the wine was flowing and everyone enjoyed the flavors of Italy. Buon appetite!
This recent engagement session was done at Knapp’s Castle. However, Knapp’s Castle is not much of a castle anymore. Knapp’s Castle is a landmark ruined mansion in the Santa Ynez Mountains near Santa Barbara, California. This is an awesome place to take photographs, located in the Los Padres National Forest, the ridge-top site has a panoramic view of Lake Cachuma and the Santa Ynez Valley. It maybe a little hard to find, but once you get there the walk is short and not very difficult. We spent a couple hours there getting some great shots with the ruins and an a cool old swing that could be a little problematic to maneuver but once we got the hang of it the photos came together smoothly.
Kristine and Christopher were married at the historic and very cool Motte Museum in Menifee one of the most unique locations in California. Barn weddings have never been more popular and the Motte Museum is full of the rustic country charm that brides love. Surrounded by their family and friends the ceremony was touching and very personal. Kristine and Christopher and their guests then enjoyed the reception seated under the barn roof filled with beautiful classic cars from every decade.
Kristin and Eric were married at one of Southern California’s hidden gems. Whispering Oaks in Temecula, California is an out of the way treasure that’s filled with tons of rustic charm. There are multiple areas for your use, including an awesome barn that we used later on for a cool nighttime shot. This place is easily one of the best kept secrets in Temecula. With an awesome rustic venue like this it only makes sense to have an award winning barbecue restaurant cater the event. Later on that evening Kristin, Eric and their guests enjoyed the reception seated under the large sycamore trees and dancing into the night.
These images are from an awesome wedding that we recently did with a holiday theme. The event was held at the historic Vibiana’s. Vibiana’s, is a former Catholic church building located in Downtown Los Angeles. The building opened in 1876 and remained the official cathedral of Los Angeles for over 100 years. The cathedral was heavily damaged during the 1994 Northridge earthquake and went through intensive renovations. Now it’s one one the most premier wedding and event venues in Los Angeles. Vibiana is a beautiful venue, the architecture on the exterior and interior of the building is stunning. The inside space is imposing, grand, and just perfect to photograph. Danielle and Ryan and their guests then enjoyed the reception seated under the spectacular architecture. The flowers were spectacular and prepared by Nina’s Floral Design and Events. The remaining of the evening was filled with dancing and lots of laughter
Rosanna and Hany were married at an Orange County classic institution last Saturday at the historic and beautiful Tivoli Hacienda in Santa Ana one of the most time-honored locations in California. The Hacienda, a historic ranch estate built in 1901, is the perfect location for your dream wedding and reception. Surrounded by their children, family and friends (many in from the Northwest and as far as New Zealand) the ceremony was touching and very personal. There was even an appearance by a close friend who happens to be an incredible belly dancer. This was very special to them because she was instrumental in them becoming a happily married couple. Rosanna and Hany and their guests then enjoyed the reception seated under the stars and dancing into the night.
Gregg and Stephanie tied the knot on a very hot Southern California day! We started the day at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills, with it’s gorgeous ‘A’ frame architecture, where Gregg and Stephanie said their vows and walked out as husband and wife. Then it was off to a very unique venue for their reception at the Cal Aero Events in Chino. It’s an airplane hangar that’s been converted into a large event space. The place was absolutely beautiful! The old planes set up in and around the venue were an amazing touch to the Hangar. The high point of the afternoon is when the newlyweds made their grand entrance in one of the vintage aircrafts from days gone by. The plane taxied down up the runway and delivered them directly in front of their cheering guest. Now that’s a grand entrance! Later on that evening their family surprised them with a giant choreographed flash mob that got everyone up and dancing. Congratulations on your new lives together as husband and wife! Thanks for allowing us to share your day.
